Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a team of clinicians to help patients achieve their goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Manage a patient case load of 10-12 patients per day, providing timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source.
  • Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including medical notes and surgery reports, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately, promoting continuous quality improvement.
  • Instruct and counsel patients and families as needed, promoting patient education and empowerment.
Qualifications
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
  • Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
