Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the training, coaching, and scheduling of kitchen staff.
- Support kitchen personnel to guarantee that guests receive timely and appetizing meals.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve guest concerns effectively.
- Oversee the quality, portion control, and presentation of all food and beverage deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling protocols, including maintaining kitchen logs.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receipt of all food and beverage supplies.
- Collaborate with various departments to achieve the hotel's operational goals.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess prior experience in a high-volume kitchen environment. A Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server's Permit are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to read, write, and utilize basic technology. This position necessitates standing and moving throughout the shift, as well as the capability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.
