Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Clear Connection, a leading Technology company with 30 years of experience in consulting, selling, installing, and maintaining Telecom Systems, Computer/Server/Network/Wireless Systems, Carrier Services, Cabling (Cat6, Cat5, 5e, Coax, Cat 3, Fiber), Security (Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion). Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will assist the Comptroller in Accounting and Finance, performing tasks such as monthly close process, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and preparation of payments. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Assist in the monthly close process to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Complete monthly close of Accounts Payable module.
• Reconcile applicable balance sheet accounts with General Ledger.
• Assist with the establishment, documentation and continuous improvement of all financial processes, workflows and forms.
• Book reconciliation (Bank and credit card).
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Utilize technical skills (Excel, Quickbooks) to build, maintain, and iterate on accounting and finance processes.
• Interface with customers and vendors on each assigned project.
• Manage and ensure no cost overruns from assigned projects without appropriate change order or CCImanagement notification and approval.
• Complete necessary documentation as needed or required by Management.
• Work with other teammates to make sure technical resources are scheduled each day.
• Complete projects to billing. Reconcile all parts and time used against original budget and provide to Finance for invoicing.
• Weekly status reports on projects to management.
• Complete high quality work with thoroughness and accuracy to achieve results. Thoroughly follows standards and procedures. Keeps complete records. Pays adequate attention to detail. Complete assignments by or before deadline.
• Update the customers email address for billing.
• Recommend solutions to accounting issues as they arise.
