Job Title: Combat Engineer

About the Job:
As a Combat Engineer with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of military operations. Your expertise in designing and building bridges, roadways, and defensive positions will be essential in supporting your fellow Soldiers and repelling the enemy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Construct fighting positions, fixed/floating bridges, obstacles, and defensive positions
• Place and detonate explosives
• Conduct operations that include route clearance of obstacles and rivers

Skills and Qualifications:
• Basic demolitions
• Basic explosive hazards
• Constructing wire obstacles
• Fixed bridge building
• Basic urban operations
• Operating heavy equipment

What You'll Learn:
Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career in construction, building inspection, and building engineering. You will learn how to use hand and power tools, perform strenuous physical activities, and work outdoors.

Requirements:
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
