Job Title: Visual Inspector (Thin Film Operator I)

Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Visual Inspectors (Thin Film Operator I) at our Camarillo facility.

JTI has over thirty years of experience specializing in the design, manufacture, and sales of high-quality Power and RF ceramic chip capacitors, inductors, and Integrated Passive Components into the global electronics market.

Job Summary:

We are looking for detail-oriented and organized individuals to perform visual inspections of thin film components under a microscope. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing defective parts that do not meet specified criteria, packing product, and supporting the Dicing Department as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspections of thin film components under a microscope to identify defects.
  • Pack product using a microscope, tweezers, and gloves.
  • Support the Dicing Department with release tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three months of experience working with a microscope.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience as a visual inspector.
  • Experience using tweezers to inspect minuscule parts.

Work Environment:

The work area must be kept clean and neat at all times. Housekeeping chores will be performed as assigned. Cross-training for other jobs is required to occasionally fill-in other departments, such as electrical testing. Additional or different functions may be assigned to the employee periodically.
