The Ascent Aviation Services is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Liaison to support multiple commodities and airplane programs. This role requires a proactive individual who can make quick engineering decisions and collaborate closely with production personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of aircraft manufacturer design and engineering principles to develop solutions for production and technical issues.
  • Provide written dispositions for routine design non-conformances and support activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety.
  • Represent the engineering community in the build through post-production environment and suggest basic repairs to engineers to speed up structural repairs.

Requirements

  • Excellent cross-functional teaming, collaborative problem-solving, and building lasting relationships.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to lead, work independently, and in a team environment.

Working Conditions

This position requires daily exposure to factory environments, including stairs, trip hazards, high noise areas, chemical hazards, and entering airplanes during their build stages.

Relocation and Drug-Free Workplace
