At Jabil, we're committed to delivering high-quality products on time. As an Assembler, you'll play a crucial role in our backend and box-build assembly processes. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Follow detailed instructions to assemble and inspect products
- Verify incoming materials and store them using a FIFO inventory system
- Assemble products using specific tooling and hardware, maintaining a predetermined run rate
- Scan required components and sub-assemblies from flow racks or bin locations
- Maintain certification and proficiency in various assembly operations
- Conduct physical inventory and execute purge processes as needed
- Maintain equipment functionality and 5S order in the assigned area
- Ability to calculate quantities and prepare parts for use
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Advanced PC skills and knowledge of Jabil's software packages
- Ability to read and comprehend visual aids and simple instructions
