About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at WFF Facility Services. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our school facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors.
  • Operate machinery to shampoo carpeting and clean walls, vents, and other interior fixtures.
  • Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
  • Empty trashcans and cigarette urns, and sweep entryways.
  • Clean restrooms, plunger sinks, and toilets, and replenish supplies.
  • Change interior light bulbs and complete work requests.
  • Remove snow and ice, and apply salt and/or ice melting products as needed.
  • Organize and supply custodial closets, and move furniture and equipment as directed.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend at a level appropriate to the duties of the position.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Criminal background check.
