We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at ProMedica Acute Care Hospitals. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the nursing team in the delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care provided to a group of patients.
- Lead the nursing team in the care of patients, collaborating with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Ensure decisions made are based on patient-centered care philosophy and utilize evidence-based practices.
- Participate in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and employee satisfaction.
- Administer medications and execute regimens as authorized by the state licensure.
- Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR training.
- Specialty certifications as required.
- Ability to respond effectively and efficiently to critical situations involving patients, personnel, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Ability to evaluate own daily practice for errors and pursue corrective action.
- BSN degree.
Demonstrates knowledge and use of standard precautions and PPE. Demonstrates knowledge and use of safe patient handling equipment. Must be able to tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, temperature changes, and exposure to blood borne pathogens and bodily fluids.
