Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality instruction and support to students with special needs through our teletherapy platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customized educational plans for students with IEPs and 504s
  • Collaborate with students, families, and educational professionals to ensure clear communication and progress tracking
  • Use virtual tools to create engaging learning experiences and maintain precise records of student performance
  • Keep regular contact with parents and guardians to ensure student success

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred
  • Valid Special Education teaching certification from both the state of residency and the state of work's department of education
  • Proven experience working with students with special needs, ideally in a remote or virtual setting
  • Strong proficiency with digital tools and teletherapy platforms, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

What We Offer:

We require that all contractors obtain both general and professional liability insurance before starting their assignment. Additionally, all applicants need to be comfortable understanding that this role is strictly 1099, for independent contractors. Before an interview, we require that all candidates complete and pass a tech screening testing out Wi-Fi and download speeds, along with general Zoom capabilities.
