Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executing a range of mechanical upkeep and cleaning duties for the Authority's office and residential facilities.

PRIMARY DUTIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Implement preventive upkeep on mechanical systems including heating units, water heaters, and cooling systems
  • Fulfill maintenance requests in residential properties across various locations
  • Support in preparing living spaces for new tenants through plumbing, woodworking, painting, and electrical work
  • Engage in general outdoor maintenance tasks such as landscaping, leaf removal, and parking area repairs
  • Deliver building cleaning services including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and other standard tasks
  • Conduct evaluations for MMHA owned/managed properties and additional sites
  • Assist in winter weather management using appropriate tools
  • Carry out any other responsibilities as directed
