Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sleep Tech Trainee, where you will participate in an approved apprentice or trainee program established by Duke Health.
As a trainee, you will work under the supervision of a qualified trainer to develop competencies in the clinical area of sleep technology.
Responsibilities- Perform all responsibilities in a manner that demonstrates service excellence towards patients, physicians, peers, and other departments.
- Assume responsibility for upholding the policies and procedures of the department and organization.
- Participate in an approved apprentice or trainee program to develop competencies in sleep technology.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Pre-requisite coursework (varies based on the apprenticeship program).
- Experience in a hospital or health system preferred.
- Required licensure and/or certification may vary based on program guidelines.
