PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian I to join our team in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Level I to work in our Children's Hospital, specifically in pediatric oncology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing nutritional status, working with medical staff, nurses, parents, and patients to optimize food intake. Additionally, the successful candidate will have opportunities to interact with and educate medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess nutritional status and develop personalized plans for patients
  • Collaborate with medical staff, nurses, and parents to optimize food intake
  • Assess patients for tube feeding and parenteral nutrition as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field
  • 1 year of experience in pediatric dietetics or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (or Registry Eligible) required
  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) or eligible for licensure required
