About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hotel Adeline. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, including vinyl repair, touch-up painting, and minor furniture repair
  • Change out light bulbs and perform routine maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, and laundry equipment
  • Repair plumbing issues and perform maintenance on exhaust fans and supply systems
  • Monitor energy conservation and perform repairs on vacuum cleaners and other small equipment
  • Respond to alarms and determine the cause, reporting findings to the Front Desk
  • Perform other tasks and jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Requirements
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
  • Certificate of completion of a one-year college or technical school program, or three to six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repair, painting, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and meticulousness, monitoring own work to ensure quality and applying feedback to improve performance
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in response to change and adaptation to new methods and procedures
  • Knowledge of safety principles and federal and state OSHA regulations
