Position Overview

$21.00 Per Hour - SEASONAL Food Service Role

We are seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Food Service Associates who have a passion for culinary arts and customer service. Ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment, and those without prior experience are welcome as TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. We value quick learners who are adaptable and eager to work across various food preparation stations, handling an array of delicious offerings including BBQ, baked goods, sandwiches, tacos, and jerky. A friendly demeanor and a proactive approach to customer interaction are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • $21 / hour SEASONAL
  • Enhance culinary skills while preparing a diverse menu of bakery items, jerky, fudge, BBQ, and more
  • Follow Buc-ee's unique food service recipes while maintaining confidentiality
  • Adhere to all culinary standards and measurements set by the company
  • Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations for all food products
  • Ensure safe food handling practices
  • Effectively operate various Menu Ordering Kiosks, Kitchen Management Systems, and transaction devices
  • Maintain a tidy workstation while efficiently fulfilling customer orders
  • Communicate effectively with store management and fellow team members
  • Safely utilize a variety of kitchen equipment including mixers, slicers, ovens, knives, and fryers
  • Engage professionally with customers and colleagues
  • Be prepared to perform additional duties as required
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule that may include day and night shifts
  • Consistent and punctual attendance
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Position Requirements:
  • Availability for work during the summer season
  • Preferred experience in restaurant or retail settings, including roles such as kitchen line cook, busser, server, or service staff
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, typically 8 hours or more
  • Frequent physical activities including bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting items weighing 40 lbs. or more
