Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Communications Strategist to join our team at the University of Notre Dame. As a key member of our Research Communications Shared Services unit, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies that support research initiatives across the university.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in communications, with experience in creating engaging content for various audiences. You will work closely with faculty members, researchers, and other stakeholders to understand their communication needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.

You will also be responsible for managing social media accounts, creating newsletters, and designing graphics and multimedia content for use on social media, the website, and other platforms. Your excellent writing and editing skills will enable you to produce high-quality written content that is well-presented, technically accurate, and meets the needs of our target audience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in higher education or academic setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective communications strategies.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability to create engaging content for various audiences.
  • Proficiency in Macintosh platforms and Google products, including email, calendar, forms, sheets, docs, analytics, and more.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
