Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from pre-construction to project closeout.
  • Team Leadership: Lead project teams, including electricians, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers. Provide guidance and direction to ensure all team members understand project goals and expectations.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication regarding project status, progress, and any issues that arise.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all electrical installations and systems meet project specifications, industry standards, and company quality expectations. Conduct regular site visits and inspections.
  • Safety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with the budget. Review and approve change orders, negotiate with vendors, and manage financial reporting.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Quickly address any issues to minimize impact on the project schedule and budget.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFI logs, submittals, and daily progress reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical construction project management.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and safety regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale electrical projects in commercial or industrial sectors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
