We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in the construction of telecommunications infrastructure, working closely with our experienced team to ensure the safe and efficient installation of underground cabling and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction, including loading, driving, and delivery of construction materials and equipment.
- Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery, including trucks, cars, backhoes, and trenchers.
- Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Work in congested or remote areas, maintaining visual and audible contact with other crew members and ensuring safe coordination of movement.
- Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman/Supervisor, adhering to all regulations, procedures, and policies.
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner.
- Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
- Ability to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies, or on-call.
