Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team at THIRA Health in Bellevue, WA. As a Therapist, you will be responsible for leading Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups and providing DBT milieu intervention treatment for assigned patients in our intensive outpatient (IOP) setting.

Responsibilities
  • Crisis Intervention Services
    • Deliver crisis intervention services, including suicide risk assessment and management, creating safety plans, de-escalating dysregulated patients, and mediating conflicts between patients as needed.
  • Support Primary Therapist
    • Support the primary therapist in the care of patients by addressing patient questions and concerns between individual therapy sessions.
  • DBT Therapy
    • Provide virtual individual DBT for assigned patients, including pre-treatment, individual therapy sessions, creating individual services plans, and discharge planning.
  • Group Facilitation
    • Lead a variety of IOP groups, including DBT Skills Training and DBT Homework Review.
  • Milieu Intervention
    • Provide supportive and DBT-skill based virtual milieu intervention to patients, promoting the application and generalization of DBT skills.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related therapy field.
  • Experience
    • Washington State Independent licensure (PhD, PsyD, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) for a minimum of two years.
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) training and experience.
    • Minimum five years of experience providing individual, group, and/or family therapy from a behavioral orientation.
    • Minimum three years of experience working in an IOP environment.
