About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice team as a Part-Time RN. As a Hospice RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families, promoting a holistic approach to care.
  • Assume primary responsibility for a patient and family caseload, including assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating phases of the nursing process.
  • Administer and instruct the administration of medication, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Initiate communication with physicians, other hospice team members, and other agencies to coordinate care and ensure seamless patient transitions.
  • Maintain current patient records and progress notes, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Supervise LPNs and Hospice Aides, providing guidance and support to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • RN license and current registration.
  • Nursing experience preferably within Hospice specialty, with a strong understanding of palliative care principles.
  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel throughout assigned service areas, as needed.
