Interior Furnishings Consultant

Position Overview:
As a Home Furnishings Consultant at American Furniture Warehouse, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their selections of home furnishings and accessories. Your expertise will guide them in creating beautiful and functional spaces within their homes.

Customer Experience:
At AFW, we pride ourselves on providing a low-pressure shopping atmosphere where customers can enjoy a professional and enjoyable experience. Your ability to connect with customers and understand their needs will be essential in helping them discover the perfect pieces for their homes.

Compensation:
The starting pay during the training phase is $16 per hour. Upon completion of training, you will earn $15.01 per hour, in addition to a commission structure that offers significant earning potential. We provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits packages, and weekly pay for all team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to assess their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress guidelines.
- Participate in daily meetings and training sessions.
- Assist in showroom maintenance, including cleaning and organization.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance processes and customer service.

Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience in retail or sales is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
