Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of House Supervisor at our hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of patient care activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coordination: Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that patient care activities are coordinated and executed effectively.
  • Patient Care Oversight: Monitor and evaluate patient care activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage nursing staff, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among nursing staff, other hospital departments, and external partners to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all hospital policies and procedures are followed, and that regulatory requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or completion of BSN within 4 years of hire.
  • License: Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact license.
  • Certifications: BLS certification, ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, and FEMA training ICS 100 and ICS 200, Emergency Notification System training, and EMR training within 12 months of hire.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of current RN clinical experience, including management of critical and complex patients, and leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSN: Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Additional Certifications: PALS certification, National certification in area of practice.
Work Environment

This role requires regular attendance and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, work well in a team environment, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
