About the Role

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification and a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
  • Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
  • Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
