Job Summary:

To provide high-quality patient care as a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiotherapy to patients for curative or palliative treatment. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Quality/No Harm: Provide accurate and timely radiotherapy consistent with prescribing physicians' prescriptions and treatment goals, as well as professional standards and documentation in the chart according to departmental standards.
* Customer Experience: Complete quality assurance assignments and other assignments related to regulatory compliance (Federal, State, ACR, OSHA, FDA, etc.) accurately, completely, and on time.
* Stewardship: Provide accurate simulation utilizing proper positioning and technique, ensure complete documentation of all data, as reported on Simulation Images, QA, and the Initial Chart Review.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy.
* Current Florida State Licensed Radiation Therapist.
* ARRT or registry eligible as a Radiation Therapist.
* Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain.

Physical and Mental Demands:

* Ability to adapt to a combination of walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting throughout the work day.
* Ability to move, lift, or position patients to achieve the required position.
* Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform technical and clinical tasks.

Work Environment:

* Ability to work in a stressful environment.
* Ability to respond to life-threatening situations.
* Ability to assess, interpret data, and educate patients and family members of various ages and levels of understanding.
