Position Overview:
This role involves providing direct care to residents, ensuring the timely and accurate administration of medications and treatments, and maintaining clear communication through verbal and written reports. You will also be expected to respond swiftly to any emergency situations that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional nursing services, including resident assessments, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration.
- Maintain thorough documentation to guarantee quality care.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical staff as necessary.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, following the Resident Care Plan.
- Support the training and development of team members through in-service education.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions and educational programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
This role requires:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Proper body mechanics to assist residents in daily activities.
- Long hours and occasional night and weekend shifts.
Travel Requirements:
No travel is anticipated, though occasional travel may be necessary for training or emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- High school diploma or GED; a four-year degree is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar healthcare role is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Proficiency in using electronic records and office equipment.
- Capability to follow directions accurately and work independently.
