Job Summary

Velocity Rail Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled CDL Class B truck driver to join our team. As a driver for our company, you will be responsible for fueling trains on an on-call basis, working closely with the railroad to ensure timely and efficient service.

Responsibilities
  • Fuel trains on an on-call basis, working closely with the railroad to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Operate a dedicated truck, equipped with red-dyed diesel fuel, to fuel trains 24/7/365 days a year
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using moderate computer skills to manage dispatches and communicate with the railroad
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing on and off elevated surfaces
  • Work in adverse weather conditions, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Reliability and dependability, with a willingness to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing on and off elevated surfaces
