Laboratory Phlebotomist Lead

Family Care Network is seeking a skilled Laboratory Phlebotomist Lead to oversee the daily workflow of phlebotomists in all locations. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance while promoting the Core Values of the Family Care Network.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to staff as assigned by supervisor and/or manager.
- Schedule staff and mentor them to achieve competency and training.
- Ensure quality patient care and demonstrate clinical excellence.
- Research and investigate laboratory-related problems and implement solutions.
- Communicate with supervisor and/or manager regarding policy violations or other issues.
- Assist with new hire training and ensure demonstration of lab-specific operational procedures.
- Complete special assignments and provide coverage for various lab shifts as needed.
- Review and approve timecards as directed by manager.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of clinical or reference laboratory experience with progressive increase in responsibilities.
- Current certification as a MA-P with the WA State Dept. of Health.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
