As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our Walmart stores, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality eye care services to patients, including comprehensive eye exams and vision correction
  • Establish your own schedule and hours of operation, allowing for flexibility and autonomy
  • Control your patient schedule and set your own fee schedule, ensuring you maximize your earnings
  • Have access to equipment and instrumentation, as well as administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows)

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
  • Valid state ophthalmology license
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9
