Welding Engineer

Emerson Group is seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to join our team. As a Welding Engineer, you will be responsible for providing metallurgical expertise and consulting services to support the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and translate welding and heat treating requirements into procedures and work instructions.
- Develop and maintain continuity of welding processes in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and advising in respect to welding and metallurgy to all Engineered Product companies.
- Work with Product and Development Engineers in the design and development of new products.
- Assure that all production fabrication welding and heat treating conforms to required Code standards and customer specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Five years of proven ability in welding engineering and in metallurgy-related job responsibility.
- Completed American Welding Society Welding Inspection course and hold an AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certificate.
