Leasing Consultant

About the Role:

Gates Hudson is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our residential property management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for welcoming and touring prospects, qualifying leads, and professionally presenting our community and apartments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage leads, document tours, and complete leasing paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all common areas, outdoor recreational facilities, and amenities are in perfect condition for tours.
• Walk rent readies and check on the status of vacant units to ensure a suitable number of rent-ready units.
• Stay up-to-date on local market conditions and trends, contributing ideas to the Manager for marketing and improving resident satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing resident concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and handle inquiries from prospects and residents.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent certification required.
• At least two years of leasing experience preferred, with a strong background in customer service and sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting and set goals.
