Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Grounds Worker to join our team at Belmont Landing Apartments in Farmville, Virginia. As a Grounds Worker, you will assist maintenance technicians and managers with maintaining the physical condition of the property according to company standards of excellence and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with property grounds duties such as weeding, trash removal, exterior painting, etc.
  • Assist with property clean up on a regular basis.
  • Removal of abandoned property.
  • Other miscellaneous repairs and maintenance needs as property conditions dictate.
  • Reporting of more significant physical damage and mechanical issues discovered.
  • Completion of assigned paperwork in both paper and digital formats.
  • Compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain polite and professional customer service and co-worker relationships.
  • Outdoors in all weather conditions.
Requirements

This is a part-time position approximately 20 hours per week. The day schedule is variable and is dictated by property needs.

High school diploma or GED is required.
