Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Specialist to join our team as an AVP - Investments Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth onboarding of new managers, maintaining high standards of due diligence, and collaborating with the investment accounting team to ensure accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain custom logic within BRS as needed, along with helping the team with reporting needs in BRS.
- Update and monitor investment results, working closely with the investment accounting team to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist with the execution of asset rotation, working with the investment accounting team to ensure asset movements are reflected in the systems.
- Accountable for ongoing KYC requirements and IMA amendment updates with existing managers.
- Work with asset managers to monitor portfolios and support the due diligence process on new investment opportunities within private credit.
- Evaluate and analyze various private credit funds, assisting in the preparation of investment memos and materials for the investment committee.
- Monitor the performance of the existing investment portfolio and perform research on trends and characteristics of various sectors within the private credit and securitized space.
- Advanced user of BRS.
- 2+ year experience in investment operations.
- Familiar with onboarding and KYC process and requirements.
- 2+ year of credit experience in one or more securitized products.
- Familiarity with various asset classes within securitized products.
- Experience in both public and private market investments.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Fluid and adaptable to changing environments.
