We're seeking a skilled Route Delivery Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in good condition.
Responsibilities:- Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food and food-related products to customers.
- Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks, including inspections of the tractor, trailer, and cargo.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load and unload products from the trailer, and transport items into designated customer storage areas.
- Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures.
- Collect payment from customers, as required.
- Perform damage control checks on products and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, and bring them to the driver check-in for processing.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid CDL-A license, with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
- Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements, as applicable.
- Able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
