We are seeking skilled Drywall Finishers to join our team at Anning-Johnson Company. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our projects.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have experience with drywall finishing techniques, including taping, mudding, and sanding. You should be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Taping seams between drywall panels and applying joint compound to achieve a smooth finish
- Mudding and sanding walls and ceilings to ensure a seamless finish
- Installing and finishing metal, plastic, and aluminum trims
- Applying multiple coats of compound and sanding between each coat to achieve the desired finish level
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- 1-2 years of experience in drywall finishing or a related field
- Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques and tools
- Ability to work at heights and climb ladders safely
- Excellent physical stamina, able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality finishes
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $20.23 to $47.43 per hour (depending on experience)
