The Brewery Server plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and exemplary food and beverage service to our patrons, contributing to an outstanding customer experience for every guest.

Reports to: Brewery Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive for duty at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure readiness.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Engage with guests warmly and enthusiastically, treating everyone with respect.
  • Complete opening tasks as outlined in the Front of House Side Work Checklist.
  • Participate in shift meetings attentively, seeking clarification when necessary.
  • Prepare assigned sections for service, including setting tables with linens, silverware, and glassware.
  • Review reservations and special requests to ensure all guest needs are met.
  • Welcome guests promptly and engage them within a few minutes of seating.
  • Guide guests through the menu, highlighting beverage options and making recommendations.
  • Take and accurately input food and beverage orders into the POS system.
  • Verify guest identification for age-restricted beverage service.
  • Serve food and beverages, including specialty dishes at the table as required.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Recognize and remember the names of regular guests to enhance their experience.
  • Seek opportunities to exceed service expectations and create memorable experiences.
  • Process payments accurately and thank guests for their visit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
  • Assist with reservations and guest inquiries as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and a commitment to customer service.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of dining service procedures.
  • Basic food and beverage knowledge.
  • Mathematical skills for handling transactions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
