Job Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement and storage of merchandise within the Catalyst Exhibits warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare merchandise for delivery and shipping according to established procedures.
  • Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
  • Load and unload freight, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Receive, identify, mark, and place materials sent to the warehouse, adhering to established protocols.
  • Process requisitions for supplies and notify supervisors of any issues that arise.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift, adhering to all safety guidelines.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Carpentry experience is a plus.

Language Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.

Must have manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials. Regularly stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, push, and pull.
