Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Physician Empire in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. As a Psychiatrist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work in a teaching facility and provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment to patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting
- Deliver ECT treatments and provide Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) consultation with employed primary care integrated clinicians
- Participate in teaching and supervision as part of our new residency training program, with academic appointment possible
Requirements:
- Board certified or board eligible psychiatrist
- Experience with common co-occurring conditions such as trauma spectrum, eating disorders, and substance use disorders
Benefits:

Our Team:
- Three adult, one geriatric, one child, and one adolescent inpatient unit totaling 82 beds
- 23-bed emergency department psychiatric evaluation area and 10-bed behavioral health pod in the new Hospital emergency department
