Cybersecurity Talent Acquisition Specialist

ANSER is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the development, implementation, and administration of Cyber Excepted Service (CES). This key role will provide technical advice and guidance on CES related HR matters to DoD Component leaders, HR offices, and the workforce. The successful candidate will possess expert knowledge of Title 5, Title 10, and Department of Defense personnel policies.
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills, and an active Secret clearance. A Master's degree in a relevant field and 12 years of relevant experience are also required. In addition, the individual must be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on procedural and regulatory requirements governing the CES recruitment process
- Assisting CES component stakeholders throughout the staffing process
- Advising component POCs on the proper coding and/or processing of CES personnel actions
- Reviewing and verifying justifications for requesting use of special salary rates, recruitment bonuses, retentions, allowances, and other authorities
- Reviewing and providing input to the development and/or revision to CES staffing related policies and procedures
- Developing associated CES supplemental guidance documents, issue papers, and products
- Researching and evaluating the interrelationships between various federal personnel systems
- Assisting in coordinating staff actions across the staff
- Preparing and assisting in the development of briefings, multimedia presentations, white papers, and informational memoranda.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
