Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse

At Shenandoah Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong nursing background and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.
- Perform emergency treatment as required, utilizing RN scope of practice.
- Document accurate and ongoing assessments of patient status, patient responses, and patient teaching.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members regarding patient condition, patient satisfaction needs, and recommendations for meeting identified outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in a timely and safe manner according to healthcare provider orders and nursing policy.
- Utilize proper body mechanics, transfer/lifting techniques to minimize fall risk to patient and injury to self.
- Implement infectious disease controls as appropriate, including isolation procedures, proper use of hand washing and gloves.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure and certification in cardiac rehabilitation.
- Strong nursing background and experience in cardiac rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
