Job Title: Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Vireo Health, Inc. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the production of cannabis-based medicines in a clean lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the manufacturing team in the production of cannabis-based medicines.
  • Operate tablet and soft gel manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished products.
  • Maintain and update work instructions.
  • Perform necessary steps in processing and manufacturing of cannabis materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform weekly safety-checks of fire-extinguishing equipment, eyewash stations, and shower stations.
  • Attend safety meetings as required.
  • Perform other functions as necessary to provide an adequate supply of product to meet patient demand.

Requirements:

  • 2-year technical degree in automation, packaging, and biomedical technology or related field preferred.
  • In lieu of technical degree, minimum of 3 years experience working in regulated environment with automated or semi-automated equipment.
  • Previous experience in medical cannabis industry.
