Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in assisting patients in achieving and maintaining optimal function and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions to formulate nursing diagnoses.
  • Implement a plan of care by providing nursing care and education directly or through ancillary personnel.
  • Coordinate educational activities and develop individualized teaching and discharge plans with clients and their families.
  • Perform hands-on nursing care and provide direction and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to facilitate the achievement of overall goals.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • One year prior professional nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • CRRN certification may be required per state/client contract.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
