Job Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of client Waste Management (WM) programs are compliant with federal and state waste regulations. The successful candidate will have experience with waste characterization, packaging, storage, profiling, and disposition in accordance with RCRA, TSCA, NRC, and DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement waste management plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct waste characterization and profiling to ensure accurate disposal.
- Prepare and maintain waste disposal profiles for TSDFs.
- Interpret laboratory analytical data to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Three to five years of experience in waste management, with a focus on RCRA, DOT, and radioactive waste management.
- Strong knowledge of waste regulations and industry standards.
