About the Job: The Los Rios Community College District is seeking a highly skilled Janitorial Specialist to join our facilities team. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all facilities, including classrooms, offices, and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect all surfaces, including floors, walls, and furniture.
  • Empty trash and recyclables and transport them to designated areas.
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise temporary employees and provide guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in custodial work.
  • An equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of community college students.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $41,980 - $52,480, paid bi-weekly. A comprehensive benefits package includes medical insurance, CalPERS retirement, and opportunities for additional insurance and financial investments.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m., with 40 hours worked per week.
