Position Overview- Specialty: Respiratory Therapy

- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- Contract Duration: Ongoing
Compensation: Up to $15,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience.
The Certified Respiratory Care Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Minimum Educational Requirement: Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program.
Preferred Experience: Previous experience in respiratory care or a related field is advantageous.
Licensure and Certification Requirements: Must possess a current RCP State of Texas License and hold a valid CRT or RRT Certification from the NBRC. Renewal is required every five years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002.
Required Courses/Certifications: Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory upon hire (ARC or AHA). AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire. Additionally, AHA ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role if applicable.
