Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach History courses at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History courses at various times and locations
  • Create effective lesson plans that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
  • Meet with students before or after class, or by appointment, to discuss their progress and provide guidance
  • Utilize a course syllabus and follow established institutional guidelines
