This is a unique opportunity to join Lumbee Holdings, Inc. as a Physician Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide medical examination and treatment services to patients in an outpatient clinical setting.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant working in an outpatient clinical setting, with at least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic, family practice, or emergency services clinical setting.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can work independently without direct physician oversight. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing their own patient care schedules and clinic operations.
In addition to providing high-quality patient care, the successful applicant will also be expected to participate in committees, functions, and meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and record medical and social historical data appropriate to the patient's condition.
- Perform general physical examinations and determine medical qualification for various purposes.
- Select the most appropriate diagnosis and treat cases of uncomplicated common illnesses and injuries.
- Recognize those more complicated cases, initiate treatment (if appropriate), and refer to a higher level of medical expertise for diagnosis and/or treatment.
Education and Certification:
- A graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on Certification Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role will be determined based on the individual's education and experience level.
