We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team at MCR Hotels. As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's public spaces and back-of-house areas.
Key Responsibilities- Support the housekeeping team in maintaining the hotel's public spaces, including hallways, stairwells, and service areas.
- Clean and maintain ice rooms, guest floors, and other areas as assigned.
- Collect and deliver trash and soiled linen to the laundry room.
- Deliver and retrieve guest requests in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report any issues with public space furniture and amenities.
- Restock guest floor linen closets and amenities.
- Assist housekeepers with stripping linen and trash from guest rooms as needed.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in assigned guestrooms.
- Stock and maintain housekeeping carts.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and team members.
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Company-approved software.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience.
- Knowledge of industrial carpet cleaning products.
