About the Bookkeeper Role

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper

  • Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to the general ledger.
  • Summarize details in separate ledgers and transfer data to the general ledger.
  • Reconcile and balance accounts.
  • Calculate employee wages from records and prepare checks for payment of wages.
  • Prepare withholding, Social Security, and other tax reports.
  • Generate monthly statements to customers.

Preferred Qualifications of the Bookkeeper

  • Full charge bookkeeping experience.
  • QuickBooks Online experience required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills.

Work Environment and Compensation

The Bookkeeper role is fully onsite in Fairlawn, OH with a salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
