Academic Interventionist

At KIPP Capital Region, we are committed to creating a joyful, academically excellent, and prepared student body. As an Academic Interventionist, you will play a critical role in helping students achieve measurable improvements in academic performance.

• Develop and implement individualized academic plans to support students' learning needs.
• Provide tutoring, coaching, and goal-setting to students to help them achieve academic success.
• Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and drive student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Communicate student progress to parents and guardians, and work with them to develop strategies for supporting their child's academic growth.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New York State teaching certification or willingness to pursue state certification.
• Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably in a charter or public school environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents to achieve academic goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Competitive salary ranging from $56,000 to $76,669.
