Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated housekeeper responsible for maintaining cleanliness in vacant units and common areas, ensuring our properties are ready for new residents and showcasing their best features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties in the business office, restrooms, laundry facilities, model apartments, and communal areas according to a set schedule.
  • Prepare vacant apartment units for viewings and new occupants.
  • Report maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in managing inventory effectively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while executing tasks and report any obstacles encountered.
  • Conduct all operations in alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare units for incoming residents, checking appliances and notifying maintenance of any issues.
  • Make keys as required.
  • Inspect and perform minor repairs on bathroom tiles.
  • Change air conditioning filters as needed.
  • Utilize carpet cleaning equipment to maintain cleanliness.
  • Provide assistance during the removal of trash from apartments, including handling heavy items.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to undertake all assigned tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety practices in the workplace.
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Availability for on-call duties and extended hours, including weekends and emergencies.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for resident interactions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, climb, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Capable of walking the property for long durations in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to navigate stairs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. as necessary.
